Summary: From acclaimed author Katie McGarry comes an explosive new tale of a good girl with a reckless streak, a street-smart guy with nothing to lose, and a romance forged in the fast lane
The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind.
Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.
But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other.

Review:

Katie McGarry has this amazing ability to get me to care about characters that I don’t actually like. In Dare You To, I fell in love with Beth even though I swore I hated her in Pushing the Limits. In Crash Into You, I got Isaiah’s story, even though I was pretty sure I thought he was lame and kind of pathetic in Dare You To. I liked him, but I kind of only wanted his story because I felt bad about the whole Beth thing.

And then, out of nowhere, Isaiah steals my heart and becomes a character I’m rooting for and loving and aching for! It’s like Katie McGarry writes her characters so that you see exactly what the other person is falling in love with. You see them through the eyes of someone who loves them and you just can’t help but like them, too. When they are side characters, you don’t know how you feel about them, but when she zooms in, she does it with just the right lens.

I loved Isaiah and Rachel. They were completely different, but somehow, they fit each other perfectly. Isaiah was kind of a mess, but he was sweet because he stayed tough, managed to maintain a bad ass reputation, but was a hardworking and motivated person who wasn’t as rough as his exterior would have you believe. Rachel was kind of the opposite. On the outside, she was rich, totally put together, weak, and girly, but inside she was a mess of emotions, tough, complicated, and extremely into cars.

And Katie McGarry also has a major talent for getting me interested in things I know nothing about. In Dare You To, it was baseball, and in Crash Into You, it was cars. I like cars, but I’m not really into racing or engines or anything like that. Somehow, Isaiah’s and Rachel’s passion got me interested and I wanted to know more.

I really enjoyed the conflict and the characters of Crash Into You. I’m a huge fan of the author and I’m pleased to say she’s done it again. And I cannot wait for more love stories (involving characters I really dislike, since West’s story is next!)
