Write a 100 word story without using the letter E.
The hardest part (besides not being able to use "THE") was keeping it under 100 words. It's actually 104, but that's the best I could do. I wish I could have expanded on my short plot.
Sam's car drifts on an icy road, coasting out of control. His car wounds an aging oak. Sam unlocks his door and walks, without knowing why. A wolf by a bush scans, noticing a man. Shadow man, wolf calls him. Sam walks towards shadow man, but knows nothing. Sam is closing in. Shadow man grabs Sam by his throat and rips a shadow out of him, moving swiftly. Sam knows nothing, but wolf knows. "I wait for no man." Shadow man says aloud, Sam's soul hanging on his arm. Wolf turns towards Sam's car and knows. Sam didn't walk away. Sam only thought so.

Colors
If I could only wear one color for the next month, I would pick green.
Assuming I have to pick an exact shade, I guess it would be an olive/military green because it's my favorite color to wear and I never tire of it.

I think it's pretty obvious this is my favorite color.

Question
And the last challenge topic is a question.
I don't know if I should ask a rhetorical one since it's unlikely it will be answered.
"A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy? "

Where I want to be
Where I want to be right now:
On my boat
in the flats of Tampa Bay
with my husband
Preferably with a fish.
I'm such a geek, I even checked the weather there to make sure this was plausible. It's 83° and sunny with only 7mps winds, so it works.

Hobby
One of my hobbies:
My most active hobby is reading. I love to read and try to read a few books a month. I always want to read more and expand more.
But I never really count reading as a hobby. It's just part of who I am and what I do.
My husband is huge into trying new things and both of us get into all sorts of crazy hobbies.
I enjoy drawing and have been sketching and making comic strips in my spare time.
I've also recently began shooting rifles and pistols at the range and trying to get better at that. I really enjoy doing it. I also shoot a traditional bow and enjoy that, too. I think I just like shooting things at targets. It's a good skill to have and it gives me a sense of accomplishment when I hit the target exactly where I was aiming.
I enjoy making things, which is part of the allure of shooting at the range. We've built target stands and brass catchers and gun racks and ammo boxes. We even tried our hand at wood burning, which was fun.
I also can't forget saltwater fishing. I never thought I'd enjoy fishing, but I do! It's so relaxing and yet exciting at the same time.
I am pretty much up for anything, which is probably why I've followed my husband into virtually all of his new hobbies and thoroughly enjoyed all of them.

Subject
Subject in school I was good at:
English.
I love reading and writing and have always been pretty good with words.
I guess nothing has changed. I still enjoy those things today.

Sentimental Value
An object I own that has sentimental value...
I think everything and nothing I own has sentimental value.
Because my husband and I work hard for what we have, I cherish just about everything.
But I also don't place extra value on anything I can think of off the top of my head.
I suppose my wedding ring carries the most value. My books are valuable to me, as well. But, I'm not a collector of anything and I don't have old family heirlooms of any sort.
Most of my memories are either in my head or in pictures.
I have a handmade quilt that my mother in law made for our wedding that is certainly dear to me. She also gave me a lot of pictures and ceramics for decoration that I hold dear.
This is kind of a hard topic because I feel like I'm somewhere in the middle when it comes to how I value my things.
